We are saddened to hear of Uncle David’s passing. We will always remember the great times that we shared, whether in Las Vegas by the casino or at a family gathering.
Uncle David was a special man. He was kind and always hospitable. We are sending the entire family strength and courage through this difficult time.

Deepest sympathies to you Louisette, and to Uncle David's surviving siblings, nieces, and nephews. Uncle David will be sorely missed. He was very close to my father, and the two shared a unique and idiosyncratic appreciation for 1960s music, live concerts, miltary history, and sports. In world where too many people are dull and unoriginal, Uncle David always had very unique and thought-provoking takes and opinions on all subjects. And his dogs (stretching back to Cuddles) were all memorable.
I remember fun nights watching Alouettes games at this home, having great summer barbecues (with real, authentic charcoal grilling) there, or spending Christmas dinners together, privately wondering about the signifcance of the knight in his foyer. Even as his health was going down somewhat, we had a great night at an Alouettes game on Canada Day 2016, and he was able to meet my oldest son at a BBQ the last time I saw him in June 2017.
Lastly, Uncle David was incredibly consistent when it came to visiting his father and mother's grave at the veteran's cemetery. I found that very classy and honorable.

Toute sa famille
J'ai connu David dans les années du Montreal Extended Centre, 1990-2005, il faisait partie de l'équipe syndicale. Il a contribué à rétablir un climat de travail et des condtions de travail respectueuses des personnes. J'offre à la famille mes plus sincères condoléances et mes sympathies.
