1983 - 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent Gauthier on August 12, 2022, at the age of 39.

He leaves behind his mother Lyse Desormeaux, his father Daniel Gauthier, his brother François (Laura), his sister Émilie (Alain), his nieces and nephews Annabelle, Jacob, Charlotte, Brielle, Evelyn and Samuel, as well as family et friends.

A private event will be held in Alberta at a later date.

If you wish, donations can be made to the Breakfast Club of Canada, to the Jewish General Hospital or at the Équiterre’s foundation.

It’s been a long time since I’d seen Vince. We worked together for years and we were friends for more years still. We’d fallen out of touch more recently, but I’m very saddened to see that he’s passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. He was truly one of the most fantastic people I’ve had to privilege to know.

Ça m'a fait beaucoup de peine d'apprendre le décès de Vincent...il était un ami d'enfance, nous nous étions retrouvé il y a quelques années et au cours des dernières 4 années la vie a fait son chemin et nous n'avions plus trop de contact, mais je garde de très beaux souvenirs de Vincent... C'était un homme bon et honnête qui aimait beaucoup sa famille. Je pense à vous tous et vous souhaite bon courage dans cet épreuve.
